  We were really happy with this condo. It was one of the cleanest I have ever rented. Got sick from the high altitude and was glad this bathroom was just as clean as my own! The only complaint I have is that the sofas in the family room were very small and it was hard for the whole family to relax and sit down together. Other than that, it was an awesome condo and great location!

  We liked the upgraded bathrooms. It makes a difference after a hard days' skiing! The kitchen was absolutely wonderful with all the appliances and utensils available to use.

  For large groups (at 13 people we almost filled a 4-BD and 2-BD pair of condos) this is a very good choice. The bedrooms are homey and very comfy, the kitchens excellent, the pool/jacuzzi area was very clean, quiet, and private with lots of shade, and the rec rom was comfortable (with an ancient banged up ping pong table and old rackets), and generally helpful staff. Some units have local phone service cancelled by owners but cell phone reception is fine and there is good wireless. The late check-in procedures need to be updated (you don't get a mandatory parking permit until registering the next morning, which can cut into an early start the first day). Overall, this was an excellent stay but at $2000 for two units for four nights, it's a bit pricey (still better than 5 rooms/night at the Motel 6!)

  We had a great time at Mammoth West #103 even though we were snowed in for 3 days & only skied 1 day. The unit is really nicely set up with upgraded kitchen & bathrooms-the heater worked fine, but the gas fireplace was not working properly. There are lots of dishes and cooking pots; we used their waffle-maker one day. The beds were comfortable-the master bed has an electricly heated pad, but the controls are switched as I cooked my wife one nite when I was cold! Cindy who made the reservations was always pleasant & pointed out discounts to me; the office staff was friendly. The staff shoveled the walkway each morning (but walking up the road was to the unit was very steep & icy). I had to shovel out my van 3 times because it snowed so much-I bought a $10 snow shovel at K-Mart in Bishop on the way up. But the parking spaces were cleared of snow as the storm let up whereas I noticed they weren't at the condos across the street. We stayed in mostly and cooked, watched movies (the TV has a nice sound system), played games with the kids, walked to Canyon Lodge (put our skis in a locker) & took the gondola to the village. After the storm we easily walked to Canyon Lodge & skied. The parking lot at Canyon Lodge filled up quickly & on snowy days people were waiting in the storm to catch a shuttle bus to town, so being able to walk to Canyon was great.

• Overall, loved the unit. It is located close to Canyon Blvd and the Lodge. It has a beautiful kitchen, lovely furnishing and is kid-friendly. Would definitely recommend it to others.

  The unit has lovely furnishings, a beautiful kitchen and is kid friendly. It is in a great location - easy walk to Canyon Lodge although a little difficult with all your gear and/or young kids (my 10 yr old was ok with the walk; my 6 yr old had trouble). The bus stop is right outside the Mammoth West office if you elect not to walk. The kitchen could have been better stocked (no papertowel, no potholders, no cookie/baking sheets; no complete set of measuring spoons). There were no spare rolls of toilet paper in the unit when we arrived and only one box of kleenex for the entire unit (already opened and partially used). There is a faint smell of natural gas in the master bedroom, coming from the water heater that is located in the closet. We notified maintenance personnel - they looked at it but said there were no leeks and it looked ok. Lastly, the water heater doesn't have a large capacity so you need to plan accordingly when showering. Having said all that, I would still stay here again and highly recommend the unit for others. It is very comfortable, nicely appointed and kid friendly.

  We loved this condo! Very nicely decorated. every thing in good working condition save a few burned out bulbs. The fireplace works awsome! Very cozy. Very close (1/4 mi) to canyon lodge.

  We arrived at 4pm to check in and waited for 50 minutes before anyone showed up. Notice on front desk said they'd be back in 30 minutes. With two children under 2 yrs old, it was very frustrating.
