This is a true ski-in, ski-out property, and features high-end amenities throughout, including a 40” flat screen TV with satellite and DVD in the living room, beautiful designer wood furnishings, custom gas fireplace and mantel, high-end bedding, mountain cabin designer touches and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains from the outdoor balcony.

There is a king bed in the master bedroom along with an iHome dock so you can listen to music on your iPod, two twins in the second bedroom, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. There is also underground heated parking. Best of all - you can ski DOWN to Eagle Express! This condo sleeps a maximum of 6 people, is handicap accessible and comes with underground, heated garage parking for one vehicle. There are no stairs to this unit, no stairs inside, and no smoking or pets are permitted.

Great location and property. Minor quibble is that the unit doesn't have wireless internet -- it's wired only. But otherwise great!

Sunstone is the ideal location for easy access to Eagle Run. The property has all of the amenities necessary for a great ski trip.

We had a wonderful week at Sunstone #216. The condo complex is right next to the Eagle Run ski lift. We visited in the summer and everything was green and lush, the surrounding lakes are majestic. The air is so fragrant and the condo was very luxurious.
A place I would visit again.

We have been skiing in Mammoth for years, but this was the best trip yet. The Sunstone property is perfect; truly a ski in / ski out location. Just ski down to the lift - no schlepping required. The ski lockers and heated garage are both great amenities - no exposure to the cold weather. Our unit was perfect and had everything we needed in the kitchen, etc. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved the location of the property. We would staty here again based upon the location. The unit was in good condition and the kitchen was clean, but there were not nearly enough drinking glasses!! There were only 4 glasses and a plastic cup! We had some issues with our key cards not working, which was a hassle, but we were given new ones when we called. The bathrooms were nice and we liked the heating unit in them. It would have been good to have more pool towels since they really got wet when the kids used the jacuzzi. Overall we were happy with our stay and the ski in ski out feature is ideal, as well as the heated undergroud garage. The Sunstone property is also very pretty and well maintained. Thanks!

Had a great time, small but very comfortable, perhaps the only complaint would be the coffee filters were not the correct type for the coffee pot. Other than that highly recommended, true ski in-out even for snowboarders like me!

The shower head in the bathroom leaked and dripped non-stop through the night. We had to put a bucket and towel under it to keep the noise from keeping us awake.
The door to the deck is difficult to lock. There should be instructions on how to lock the door.
We liked the keypad entry to the unit. That was very convenient.

Place is perfect. Easy to ski in/out and nicely appointed. Perfect for a family of four. Our only complaint was getting the keycards out of the mailbox using a combination. Had to be the world's worst combination lock mechanism. My wife and I tried it 15 times, following the exact instructions, and then had to call for help.
Sunstone is a wonderful location. Given it's easy access to Eagle lodge and the lighter crowds than elsewhere on the mountain, we'd love to return here again. I'm not so sure I liked this building and the size of our unit.

I think I'd have preferred Juniper Springs with staff to help out, game room, coffee shop, etc. The whole key card thing was a hassle, as they frequently wouldn't work and we'd be locked out.

We like Sunstone for the location & overall pleasent environment. Unit #216 is nice but this trip the living room fireplace / heater did not work at all & master bathroom heater switch was also broken. Otherwise a nice clean unit with good matress in master bedroom & nice amenities. Loading & unloading all of our belongings from the parking garage was a hassle as only unit owners are afforded luggage carts which they keep locked up in the lobby. This made for a real hassle with luggage & gear my family of 4 requires. I say to owners who get good money for these units, cut loose with of few of those precious luggage carts for your guests.
In spite of my few complaints we would recommend Sunstone to anyone with an upper end budget & a taste for a luxury vacation slopeside in Mammoth.

The location can't be beat, and the parking situation was wonderful along with the pool/hot tub and lockers for ski equipment. We couldn't get the fireplace to work so the unit was cold and kitchen amenities were limited-no wash cloths and only 2 dishtowels and 2 mismatched wine glasses so although we ate every meal in we had to be pretty creative. We didn't notice any on site manager to ask questions about things like a parking permit which was not in our lock box, but residents were helpful. Our upstairs neighbor was EXTREMELY noisy but we didn't know how to handle that either. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but probably try somewhere a little less expensive else next time.

We always stay at either sunstone or juniper because of the location. We are always happy with our choice. This condo was especially nice with the storage and upgrades (flat screen tv's make for more space). We've gone through various sites to rent condos and the only thing I'd wish for is access to a luggage cart to unload the car (which you get if you book thru the main management group). Check out time at noon instead of 10 am would also help.
