This is a spacious, one bedroom plus alcove, 2 bathroom unit. The master bedroom has a beautiful queen size brass bed, an entertainment center with a TV with DVD player and stereo/CD player as well as full private bathroom. This condo has a truly unique layout with bunkbeds set into an alcove off the living room with private bathroom... it’s almost like having an additional bedroom.

For additional sleeping, there is a queen size pullout sleeper sofa in the living room along with a TV with DVD player. It also has a cozy gas fireplace in the living area along with free Wireless Internet. The kitchen has a new floor, new stove and new microwave.

This condo sleeps a maximum of 6 people, making it a great value, and is just an 8 minute walk to Canyon Lodge and the slopes, and in the summertime has access to tennis courts. There is one assigned garage parking spot, with additional parking available upon request from the on-site property manager of the complex, pending availability. There are 33 stairs to the unit and no stairs inside the unit. There is no smoking permitted and is pet-friendly.

Although there were no keys inside the unit as indicated and a shower door handle was broken, the rental company responded very quickly to both issues. The one comment I can make is that the blankets did not seem very clean and there were extra pillows but no extra pillow cases.

This property is on the second floor, so we had to climb two flights of stairs to haul up all our stuff. An elevator would have been nice. My husband had an injured knee so this was difficult for him to negotiate everyday. Otherwise we liked easy access
to hiking trails right behind our room, our dogs gave this a five star rating.

Our condo was very comfortable and had all the ammenities. Thanks for the complementary coffee, cookies, soaps, and xbox games!. To be fair, the queen bedroom was awesome...but the pull out sofa mattress is lackluster, and needs to be replaced.

The property is a decent hike to the Canyon lodge, and most people won't walk it; rather opt to drive.

The location of the actual unit is also hard to find, having to find two stairways which are not well marked.

The unit itself is clean and does the trick; good for people who are looking to snowboard, more than staying in. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay.

Very pet friendly. The place was cozy and the location was great. The only downside was trying to drive up the hill to our place. Definitely need chains. Would be nice if the property manager had the snow/ice plowed daily. Otherwise a great stay.

Master Bedroom TV is only hooked-up for DVD & VHS movies (no actual live TV). TV in living area has local and cable stations (works fine). Xbox game hookup in living area was an unexpected pleasant surprise for the kids.

While a number of reviews regarding this development prior to my trip indicated that the buildings were in poor repair and conditions less-than-clean, we found that it really depends on the unit. This unit was comfortable, and, while not luxurious, pleasant with a nice view into the trees. The owners were kind enough to have toiletries and a few treats in the kitchen; and they obviously took care with appointing the home. Truly, nothing was lacking and the rental fees were very reasonable for the size of the condo. Would rent this unit again.

We had a little problem with the internet access that was finally resolved after a number of phone calls to the Property Manager. A leaky sink was repaired right away, which was great. Overall, this is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. It is a reasonable walk to Canyon Lodge, if you don't mind the walk up or down the rather steep hill to get to the road. We enjoyed our stay and would use this rental again.

We enjoyed the condo's location and amenities. A great location to hit the slopes. I would recommend that all the linen and bed coverings being cleaned, they looked and smell dirty; especially the comforters and throw pillows. I would definitely reserve and stay at Mammoth ski and racquet club again.
